
EASY SHORTBREAD BISCUITS
SERVES 16 PEOPLE
INGREDIENTS
• 1 CUP OF SALTED BUTTER, SOFTENED
• 1/2 CUP OF SUGAR
• 2 CUPS OF ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 160°C. Cream butter and sugar until light and fl uff y. Gradually beat in flour. Press dough into an un-greased 9-in. square baking pan. Prick with a fork.
2. Bake until light brown, 30-35 minutes. Cut into squares while warm. Cool completely on a wire rack. If desired, dust with confectioners’ sugar.
