
SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE
SERVES 12 PEOPLE
INGREDIENTS
• 4 CHOPPED ONIONS
• 3 CHOPPED CARROTS
• 3 CHOPPED CELERY STICKS
• SUNFLOWER OIL
• 3 TABLESPOONS CHOPPED GARLIC
• 2 KG BEEF MINCE
• 1.5 KG TOMATO & ONION MIX
• 345G TOMATO PASTE
• 2 TABLESPOONS DRIED MIXED HERBS
• SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fry the onions, carrots and celery sticks in oil until soft.
2. Add the garlic and fry briefly.
3. Add 4 kg beef mince and brown lightly.
4. Add the Tomato & Onion Mix, the Tomato Paste, the dried mixed herbs and salt and pepper to taste.
5. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until thick then serve.
